These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AuthorAdEngine ("AAE", "we", "us", or "our"), a subscription-based software-as-a-service platform designed to help authors and small publishers manage, monitor, and analyze advertising performance.

By creating an account, accessing, or using AuthorAdEngine, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Definitions

"Service" means the AuthorAdEngine platform, website, dashboard, APIs, and related services.

"User" means an individual authorized to access the Service under an Account.

"Account" means the subscription entity associated with a User or group of Users.

"Third-Party Services" means external platforms integrated with the Service, including but not limited to advertising platforms, analytics providers, and payment processors.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account and to keep such information updated.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account, including actions taken by authorized Users.

3. Subscription Plans, Trials, and Billing

AuthorAdEngine is offered on a subscription basis. Features, limits, and pricing vary by plan.

3.2 Free Trials and Beta Access
We may offer free trials, beta access, or promotional pricing at our discretion. Trial or beta access may include feature limitations and may be modified or terminated at any time.

3.3 Billing and Payment
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card information. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge recurring fees in accordance with your selected plan.

3.4 Failed Payments and Suspension
If payment fails or a subscription is canceled, your Account may be placed into a read-only or inactive state. Data will not be immediately deleted unless you request account deletion.

4. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

If your subscription ends, your data may be retained for a limited period as described in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to delete data after that period.

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, design, and documentation, are owned by AuthorAdEngine or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthorAdEngine shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits or data.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AuthorAdEngine from claims arising out of your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may terminate your Account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AuthorAdEngine operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
